Revolution Pursuit of Freedom Dragon Fruit

Revolution Pursuit of Freedom Dragon Fruit

We recently learned the story of Jess Mitchell, a brewer and breast cancer previvor with Kinship Brewing Company in Waukee, Iowa. After undergoing a double mastectomy, she developed Scars Are Beautiful, a collaboration to celebrate the journey and path to self-love, beauty, change, and continued growth.

Raising money for women living with breast cancer has been part of Revolution's mission since we launched our annual The General Drinks Pink program to benefit the Karen Wellington Foundation each October. Since starting that program, breast cancer has further impacted a number of members of the Revolution team, including our partners, family, and friends – leaving us with a desire to expand the impact we can make.

At our inaugural Freedom Fest in July 2022, the hit of the festival was a new Pursuit of Freedom featuring Dragon Fruit and featuring a gorgeous, bright pink hue. With its pear/melon sweetness and natural tartness, the most distinctive entry in our series of Session Sours joins Jess during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in her mission to normalize scars and celebrate body changes.

A full 100% of the proceeds from draft and four-pack sales at the Revolution Taproom and Brewpub will be donated to the Karen Wellington Foundation and Can Do Cancer in Iowa.
